Best AI music video generator: 13 tools compared

The best AI music video generator depends on what your song needs. If you want the full song cut to the beat with karaoke lyrics, the music-first tools (Muzix, freebeat, Neural Frames, Solmi, SunoMV) do that from one upload. If you need a singer who lip-syncs, look at Solmi, SunoMV, freebeat, OpenArt or Kaiber. If you want to direct every shot yourself, a general video tool such as Runway gives you the most control but makes you assemble the video.

Disclosure: we make Muzix, one of the tools below. Every fact about the other tools comes from their own websites, checked on October 29, 2026, and each section links its sources. We did not test the other tools hands-on and we don’t score them.

“Not stated” means the vendor’s pages we could read don’t say. Prices are monthly billing in USD unless noted, as listed on October 29, 2026.

How this comparison was built

  • Sources: each vendor’s homepage, feature page, pricing page, FAQ or help center. No third-party reviews.
  • Date: all pages were checked on October 29, 2026. Plans change often, so check the vendor’s pricing page before you buy.
  • No hands-on tests and no scores. We didn’t render videos with the other tools, so this page doesn’t judge their output quality. It compares what each vendor says its tool does.
  • Gaps are marked. When a vendor’s pages don’t say something, or say two different things, we write that instead of guessing.

Music video generator vs. AI video generator

An AI video generator makes a short clip from a prompt. A music video generator starts from the song: it finds the beat, the sections and often the lyrics, then plans scenes so the cuts land on the music and the video runs as long as the track. With a general tool such as Runway you generate takes of a few seconds each and line them up against the song yourself. That gives you more control and more work.

The tools

Muzix

Best for: Seeing and editing the full storyboard before you spend credits.

Upload a song (MP3, WAV or M4A, up to 50 MB) or pick one you made with the AI song generator. Muzix separates the vocals, transcribes the lyrics with word-level timing and finds the beat, bars and sections. It then writes a scene for every section, which you can read and rewrite for free.

You see the credit cost before rendering, and cuts land on bar lines. The video has karaoke lyrics, no watermark, and runs up to 8 minutes. You can also render only the first chorus.

Styles and formats
Cinematic or anime; 16:9 or 9:16; MP4.
Render tiers
Standard (Seedance 2 mini, 720p) 2 credits per second; Kling (Kling 3.0, 720p) 8 credits per second; Kling HD (Kling 3.0 Pro, 1080p) 10 credits per second. A 3-minute song on Standard costs 360 credits. Failed renders are refunded.
Limits
No lip sync, no putting your own face in the video, no real artists, and a daily limit on new projects.
Price
Virtuoso $12.99/mo (200 credits), Maestro $29.99/mo (1,000 credits), or one-time packs from $15.99. The storyboard is free; rendering uses credits.

freebeat

Best for: A low entry price and importing songs by link.

freebeat says it analyzes BPM, beats, drops and song sections, then plans the storyboard and shots. It takes uploads or links from Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Suno, Udio and TikTok, among others. Videos run from 15 seconds to about 6 minutes in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, with karaoke-style lyrics and lip sync.

Limits
Every paid plan removes the watermark. Basic and Pro export up to 720p; 1080p starts at Ultimate.
Price
500 free credits to start. Basic $4.99/week (1,990 credits a week), Pro $26.99/mo (10,000 credits), Ultimate $39.99/mo (19,000 credits), shown as limited-time discounts from $6.99, $34.99 and $49.99.

Neural Frames

Best for: Long videos and audio-reactive visuals.

Neural Frames has three modes: Autopilot (song to video, up to 10 minutes), a frame-by-frame editor for audio-reactive animation, and a text-to-video timeline. It splits the song into 8 stems so visuals can react to each instrument. You can lock up to 3 characters and train custom models. Lyrics can be burned in as captions, and lip-sync tools are listed on every plan, without further detail.

Limits
The free trial covers a couple of Autopilot storyboards or about 20 seconds of frame-by-frame video, and exports carry a watermark until you pay. 4K starts at $66/mo.
Price
Neural Knight $26/mo (2,400 credits, 1080p). Failed generations are free, and credits roll over while you’re subscribed.

Solmi

Best for: A lip-synced singer made from your own photo.

Solmi turns a song into a lyric video, a performance, a cinematic story, a dance video or a visualizer. It detects tempo, key and lyrics in 14 languages. You can cast up to 3 people from reference photos, and the singer lip-syncs to the vocals. The storyboard is editable shot by shot. It accepts MP3, WAV or M4A up to 200 MB, or a YouTube or public Suno link, and exports 16:9 or 9:16.

Limits
The free preview is 20 seconds at 480p with a watermark, for personal use. Full songs need a paid plan.
Price
Plus $35/mo (2,000 credits, 1080p, commercial license).

SunoMV

Best for: Suno songs with karaoke subtitles.

SunoMV (suno.bi) is an independent product, not made by Suno. Paste a Suno, YouTube or Bilibili link or upload audio, and it pulls the lyrics and makes an image per lyric line, with optional AI video clips and lip sync on key sections. It offers 18 subtitle styles, including word-by-word karaoke, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.

Limits
The free tier previews lyric sync and the storyboard but doesn’t export video. Full-song motion needs Pro.
Price
Pro $39.9/mo, or $29.9/mo billed yearly (1080p, commercial rights). Studio $129.9/mo adds 2K/4K.

Limits
No free plan; a 5-day trial costs $5. Beat Sync needs Creator ($29/mo) or higher. Kaiber describes Montage as one subject in one world rather than a story.

How to choose

  • You want the whole song done from one upload.

Pick a music-first tool: Muzix, freebeat, Neural Frames, Solmi or SunoMV. Check the maximum length against your song.

  • You need a singer on screen.

You need lip sync: Solmi, SunoMV, freebeat, OpenArt, VidMuse, Kaiber or Runway. Muzix doesn’t do this.

  • You want lyrics on screen.

Muzix, freebeat and SunoMV show karaoke-style lyrics; Solmi shows lyrics on screen; Neural Frames and Kaiber add lyric captions.

  • You’re on a tight budget.

Compare what the free plan actually exports (length, resolution, watermark) and what a full song costs on the cheapest plan, not only the monthly price.

  • You’re posting to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

All of the music-first tools above offer 9:16.

  • You want full control.

Use Runway, or the scene editors in Plazmapunk and BeatViz.
